A Vendor‑Neutral,
Highly Flexible Control Platform

First of all, what is the THT Multi-Control HUB?
The THT Multi-Control HUB is a hardware platform designed to serve as a centralized hub for integrating IoT devices such as electric door locks and various sensors.
It was developed entirely in-house and launched as a commercial product in 2020.
Please tell us about the development process.
It all started when a client approached us with a concern. They had installed a contactless card-based access control system, but were struggling because it wasn't truly "manageable" and worse, it wasn't compatible with other network systems.
While many building security systems are available on the market, they are typically sold as complete packages, consisting of a control panel, controller, and card reader, by a single manufacturer. This approach tends to lock users into proprietary communication protocols and standards, limiting flexibility and making integration with other devices and systems difficult.
To ensure scalability and adaptability, especially in scenarios that weren't anticipated at the time of installation, companies often have no choice but to replace the entire system or develop custom devices, which is both costly and time-consuming.
To solve this issue, we decided to develop our own general-purpose control platform and controller, something that could connect and communicate with devices from a wide range of manufacturers and specifications.
And that's how the "THT Multi-Control HUB" was born: a customizable, versatile solution built to meet the diverse and evolving needs of our clients.
So, you have created a device that truly functions as a hub. That sounds incredibly useful.
What kind of IoT devices can the hub connect to?
The THT Multi-Control HUB can connect to a wide range of hardware devices, such as:
Face recognition terminals
Biometric authentication terminals (e.g. fingerprint and retina scanners)
Body temperature monitoring systems
Electric locks and control boards
Access control sensors
Contactless card readers
Keycard verification terminals
Surveillance cameras
Parking occupancy sensors
Digital signage
Timecard systems
Fire alarms
Fitness machine usage sensors
...and more.
In short, this hub is designed to interface with virtually any type of IoT device.
By integrating these devices through a single platform, the system enables centralized visualization of data and remote management of both schedules and hardware. We also provide ongoing operational and maintenance support. Whether it's adding or removing devices, changing settings, or changing the person in charge, we offer one-stop service to quickly respond to client needs.
That's a fantastic product... It's certainly a great thing to be able to freely choose devices without being locked into one manufacturer is a huge advantage.
What other advantages does it offer?
One key strength of the "THT Multi-Control HUB" is its scalability, even for devices that haven't yet been released. It's designed to accommodate future expansion and unknown technologies.
Normally, when devices from different manufacturers or with different communication protocols are connected, they fall outside the scope of the manufacturer's warranty. However, by using the THT Multi-Control HUB to build the network, we are able to provide support that effectively covers those gaps.
I see. So THT is also a reassuring presence for manufacturers.

What are the evaluations from stakeholders and clients?
The biggest point of praise is the freedom it provides. Since the IoT environment is no longer restricted by the limitations of individual manufacturers, clients are better able to realize their ideal system configurations. It has also made it easier for contractors to understand system architecture and configuration, which in turn reduces the time and cost of design, development, and construction.
The product's high level of customization, tailored to each client's needs, has been particularly well-received. We believe this will become a standard device in future IoT environment.
Thank you very much. To help our clients realize their vision, we started by solving the challenges of device specifications. That's not something just any company can do.
