Please tell us about your work.
I am currently stationed on-site at a major energy company, where I'm responsible for managing mobile communication contracts and overseeing call center operations.
How do you feel about your work?
To be honest, I have never really felt stressed at work. There are two reasons for that. First, I have a personal policy: "I don't say no to work." Second, I feel a strong sense of self-efficacy because I'm trusted with important responsibilities, and that motivates me to give my best.
Can you elaborate on your "no-refusal policy" and "self-efficacy"?
The "no-refusal policy" is something I picked up from a senior colleague at the first company I worked for. Without even realizing it, I began to adopt the same approach. To maintain this mindset, I try to keep enough margin in my schedule so that I can take on new tasks without hesitation. That's why I place a strong emphasis on constantly improving the efficiency of my work.
As for self-efficacy, I believe it comes from the trust clients place in me, they allow me to choose the best approach to solving a problem. While results do matter, I'm not under pressure to follow strict instructions like "it must be done this way." Because of this freedom, I'm able to approach my work with creativity and truly enjoy what I do.
Please share an example of how you improve business efficiency.
For instance, tasks such as managing mobile communication billing and handling loaner device requests for clients were previously done using paper forms. To streamline the process, I transitioned these operations to a web-based management system with electronic payments. This not only reduced the workload for clients but also improved the efficiency of my own tasks. As a result, I gained more time in my schedule, creating the kind of "margin" that allows me to take on additional responsibilities from clients.
How do you approach new challenges?
When facing a challenge similar to something I've dealt with before, I draw on my past experience and reach out to colleagues who seem knowledgeable. I also make an effort to search for others who might have insight, and of course, I turn to Google for additional information.
For completely unfamiliar issues, I take a similar approach asking those who seem experienced or researching online. Even if I haven't worked directly with someone before, I'll reach out to them by name to get their input. When it comes to technical matters, I know I can always consult with my manager, which is a great support.
What motivates you in your work?
The most rewarding moment for me is when the specifications or documents I submit get approved on the first try. The drink after work tastes even better.
Also, when I feel balanced and less stressed at work, I can be more patient and kind with my children. That creates a happy atmosphere for the whole family. I believe that staying positive and smiling isn't just good for the family, it might even be good for your skin. A win-win, right?
What skills do you consider essential for your job?
For me, two key skills are writing and communication.
"Writing skills" involve being mindful of the audience and using clear, simple language that anyone can understand. It's about making information accessible and easy to follow.
"Communication skills" may seem less relevant for administrative work, but they are actually essential, especially when facing new challenges. Gathering the right information often means reaching out to others, asking questions, and building connections.
What kind of efforts are you making to develop these skills?
I make a conscious effort to keep learning, both during and outside of working hours.
For example, during online meetings, I try to encourage engagement by using interactive methods like quizzes and surveys. I'm also interested in discovering new tools and apps that can support this kind of communication. I enjoy exploring whether these tools might be useful for work, and that process itself keeps me curious and helps me enjoy my job more. It also tends to inspire those around me and creates opportunities to better understand my colleagues.
Outside of work, I serve on my child's kindergarten graduation committee, helping to prepare memory books and farewell gifts. I recently found an image editing app that can remove backgrounds from photos, and I'm considering how it might be helpful in my work.
What are you interested in right now?
There are still many tasks and processes that clients shouldn't have to handle themselves. I want to become someone who can step in as the point of contact and take ownership of those responsibilities to help resolve them efficiently. While I always try to maintain a certain level of "margin" so I can respond to any type of request, I'm also aware that there are limits to what I can manage alone. That's why I hope to build a structure that allows me to consistently maintain that flexibility. As part of this, I would like to grow our team by bringing in more dispatched colleagues.

If you are facing a work-related challenge, please feel free to consult with me and I'll find the best solution together.
One of my strength is that I always have a "margin" to support others in this way.
I also learned a lot from Ms. M about how to stay clear and practical motivated when improving work efficiency!
Thank you so much!
