A Day in the Life at THT
T.K's one day, SE Team, Business Solution Department (Joined in January 2021)
As a network specialist, I am responsible for the design and implementation of projects.
Given the high level of precision required, I approach each task with a strong sense of focus and responsibility.
9:00 Start Work
Prepare for work at the client's office. Conduct start-up meetings, such as confirming the WBS depending on the project.
This is an important time to check the overall progress of the project and plan the day's schedule.
10:00 Document Creation
We create various documents such as verification configuration diagrams, configurations, verification contents, and test specifications according to your requirements.
Depending on the volume, it may take several days to prepare the materials.
11:45 Lunch Break
12:45 Document Review and Revision
Have lunch at a nearby family restaurant or Chinese restaurant. Taking a break at my usual spot.
The team members will review the documents and make corrections to any issues that are identified.
We place special emphasis on reviewing documents. We create documents while focusing on the objectives and requirements, and review them to improve their completeness.
15:00 On-device Testing and Verification
Verification on actual equipment based on materials.
We assemble the actual configuration, check that it works according to the test specifications, and if it differs from expectations, we recheck and correct the settings and perform the test again.
This is the most challenging part of the process. It is also the most time-consuming part and can take several weeks to complete.
When things don't work as expected, that's where your skills come in. Isolating the problem is important, and the key to resolving it is not just experience, but knowing who to contact and how to investigate.
18:00 Leave Work
End the day's work with a meeting or chat to report on progress.
It is important to comply with data storage and reporting rules. Sharing within the team is important for the smooth progress of the project. After properly completing the report, work for the day is finished.
