A Day in the Life at THT
Y.K's one day, Digital Solution Team (Joined in October 2021)
8:30 Start Work
I begin the day by checking for any urgent messages or last-minute schedule updates to ensure nothing is missed.
It's important to confirm the working status of key team members and make sure there are no discrepancies with the schedule.
9:00 Document Preparation and Development
I use my most productive hours in the morning for document preparation, development tasks, or other work that requires concentration and critical thinking.
Since my brain is sharpest in the morning, I try to complete any mentally demanding tasks before noon.
12:00 Lunch Break
Lunchtime is for giving my brain a rest. I let myself zone out and enjoy a quiet meal.
It's always nice to have someone to chat with, makes the break more enjoyable. Sometimes I even take a short nap if needed.
13:00 Project Management ①
I review the status of tasks assigned both inside and outside the company, reorganize priorities, and break down larger tasks into manageable parts.
This is also the time when external meetings are typically scheduled.
15:00 Coffee Break
A small break to reset my focus.
Whether working in the office or remotely, I make time to brew a cup of coffee and take a mental breather.
Surprisingly, this short break often helps me solve problems I've been stuck on or remember things I had forgotten. It's a key moment of the day.
15:30 Project Management ②
Continue working on project management tasks.
With a refreshed mind after the coffee break, I revisit what I was working on earlier and often find mistakes or better approaches I missed the first time.
This part of the day is when I tend to realize what I got wrong before, sometimes it's a bit of a scramble!
16:00 Reporting and Next-day Schedule Confirmation
I review whether tasks for the next day (or beyond) have been appropriately assigned.
I also use this time to share or discuss upcoming long-term tasks with the team.
16:30 Self-Study
I make a point to set aside time for self-studying each day.
Although I'm usually mentally tired by this point, I enjoy browsing IT-related articles, exploring technologies I've been curious about, and expanding my knowledge based on interest.
Sometimes I jot down rough ideas in bullet points or share interesting information with the team.
17:30 Leave Work
Unless there are urgent client requests, I finish work on time.
